Our Story

Sell A Cow is a family-owned furniture store based in Libertyville, Illinois, proudly serving our local community since 2010. Built on trust, relationships, and pride in our work, our business was founded with one simple belief: buying furniture and interior design should be personal.

Brothers Vitaliy and Dima Chernyak opened their first store in 2010 with the goal of offering more than just a place to shop. From the beginning, we focused on providing high-quality home furniture paired with honest interior design guidance and real customer support — not pressure or quick sales.

We don’t just sell furniture. We help our clients design comfortable, functional spaces they truly enjoy living in through thoughtful furniture selection and interior design support. Every manufacturer we work with is personally selected by us. We carefully evaluate product quality, craftsmanship, and warranties to ensure they meet the standards we would expect in our own homes.

Libertyville is home for us. Our kids attend the same schools as our customers, and we shop, dine, and live in the same neighborhoods. Because of that, customer service isn’t just a business promise — it’s personal.
